ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Rhyd-y-groes is a Touring Caravan and Camping park that is pleased to welcome disabled visitors.

• Visitors can be met on site by prior arrangement, and assistance given to site a caravan or pitch a tent.
• There is a large tarmac entrance to the park with good visibility and the driveway is level and stoned.
• All pitches have a car parking space alongside and are divided by shrubs to give a level of privacy.
• Hard standing and grassed pitches are available and all are a generous size.
• The disabled wet room includes a shower, shower seat, toilet, washbasin, hand dryer, shaver point and shelves. Grab rails are fitted throughout this bathroom.
• Access to the shower block is via a gently sloped tarmac entrance
• At night the shower block is lit and low level general lighting is provided around the site.
• The park is served with 16 amp hook-ups.
• Water points are conveniently sited around the park
• Assistance with chemical waste can be provided on request.
• The hard standing pitches have an awning area on grass.
• There are numerous dustbin areas and recycling points on the park and most are accessible by car.
• Telephone numbers for local taxis service, doctor, and 24 hour emergency are displayed in the information/ kitchen room.
• Mobile phone coverage depends on which service provider is used
• Dogs are welcome on site and there is a dedicated dog run.
